Recently, after a number of years. I attended a college reunion. It was quite a shock coping with traffic on dual carriage ways; seeing all the tourist based shops, garden centres and the dozens of people walking the streets and paths. One day I was lucky to get a seat on a small bus driven by a National Trust Officer who took us along back routes till we found quite remote areas looking much as they once did. However, we managed to enjoy an up market pub lunch in a remote valley!
