Nailsworth
Nailsworth has an unusual and fascinating history which I recorded in "A Portrait of Nailsworth". Times change, a hundred years ago the area was largely green fields; there was little personal transport, so the community was close and largely self sufficient. However, it is surprising what can happen in just a short time. The pictures illustrated here have all been painted within the last thirty years and hopefully, with the help of my grandson Tommy Newman, will help us to remember our more recent history.
